Description
Antique French clasp in 18 karat gold (750). Rectangular clasp with blue and white enameled decoration depicting on one side a bird taking flight, leaving behind a flaming heart and a house; on the other side a blue enameled cartouche with four stylized plants. The clasp is flat, it can be worn as a pendant. Sentimental piece of jewelry from Normandy, France, mid-19th century.
