Art Deco brooches

At the beginning of the 20th century brooches are very fashionable, the Art Deco brooches are often decorated with diamonds, onyx and have geometric shapes, clean and clear lines. The major jewelry houses all offer models of brooches very pure but with many stones. The Art Deco brooches can be declined in clips, which we separate in two and wear on each side of the collar.

    Art Deco diamonds line brooch in platinum 850. Bar brooch decorated with a line of twenty-three  old-cut diamonds , arranged in fall: they join in the centre on a more important diamond. Triangular-shaped lapel clip, combining the typical lines of Art Deco with the beginning of the curves typical of the Retro period, with scrolls at the top. This lapel clip is set with 51 rose-cut diamonds. Brooch or lapel clip, circa 1930-1940, France.

With its straight geometric lines and openwork design, this octagonal brooch is in keeping with the typical trends of the Art Deco period. It is representative of the white jewellery that was in fashion at the time. The jewel is entirely paved with 77 old and rose-cut diamonds. One bigger diamond sits in the centre of the composition. This diamond weighs approximately 0.32 carat. Early 20th century jewel, circa 1920-1930.
