    Antique double stick pin in rose gold 18 karats. Victorian double stick pin decorated with two drops of coral with a slightly pinkish-orange color. The two pins are linked to each other by a gold chain. Victorian jewel dating from the second half of the 19th century, France, for hat or tie. They are called “inseparables” and came into use around 1835.

    Horse head hallmark (1838-1919) and goldsmith’s hallmark partially visible.

    French regional citrine bracelet in yellow gold 18 karats. This bracelet is composed of five oval citrines faceted on red foils, set in a closed and curved setting. The gems are alternated with four openwork filigree links. These citrines are called “Catalan Brazils”, they are from Perpignan area.     Jugendstil enamelled brooch in silver (800). Antique triangular brooch forming a stylised butterfly. The jewel is centered of a faceted purple glass imitating the amethyst. The brooch is also enamelled, taking the colors of a gradient going from the light pink to the purple. The three enameled bands frame the central stone. The brooch has the lines of the German Art Nouveau period, the Jugendstil. On the reverse, the jewel bears a monogram MM. German Art Nouveau brooch, Jugendstil jewel, probably from Pforzheim, circa 1915.

    Victorian fob seal pendant in yellow gold 18 karats (750 thousandths) and silver.

    This pendant in the form of stirrup is decorated with a seal made of citrine wich turns on itself. It is composed of two intertwined strands, one in silver, the other in gold. They form a knot in the center of the composition. The citrine is engraved on two of its sides with an inscription in Persian language and on the third with gothic initials.

    On both sides in Persian is the date “278” probably for 1278 in the Hijri calendar, which corresponds to 1861 of our calendar.

    Arts & Crafts brooch by Barnet Henry Joseph (1865-1929), in rose and yellow 9 karat gold. The brooch has a triangular shape and is composed of openwork interlacing. It is a typical pattern of English Art Nouveau movement, also called Arts & Crafts. In the center, a pink quartz cabochon adorns the piece in a serrated setting. The composition is decorated with a fine elongated pearl (not tested), also called a soufflure. English brooch made by Henry Joseph Barnet, circa 1910.

    Signed BHJ on the reverse. Gold tested 9k.

Religious jewel, probably from the South of France, Mediterranean Sea, middle of the 19th Century.

    Victorian agate cameo pendant in yellow gold 18 karats decorated with the profile of the goddess Flora, wearing flowers in her hair. The agate has three layers: gray for the background, white for the profile, brown for the flowers in the hair. The cameo is set with fleur-de-lis claws. Four old- European cut diamonds, as well as eight rubies (including a red stone) frame the cameo on a curved black enamel band. Jewel of the second half of the 19th century, French Napoleon III period or Victorian period.

    Two owl hallmarks.

    Condition : small accident on the upper flower button of the headdress, a very slight jump of enamel in the thickness on the left part. A ruby that has been replaced by a red stone (top right).

    Note: this jewel has been transformed, the pendant was originally a brooch.

    Weight of the stones: the 4 diamonds weigh about 0.32 carat in total; the 7 rubies weigh about 0.35 carat in total.

    Victorian French locket pendant in silver plated. An enamelled ceramic plate adorns the center of the pendant. It represents a woman in traditional regional costume, with her head bowed and her hands crossed, in front of the village church. Her traditional costume let us think that the woman is from Alsace, East of France, because of the large black bow which was worn here at this period.

    Red glass stones surround the figure in a set of filigree. At the back, the locket opens to hide a lock of hair or a photograph of the loved one.
