This regional clasp is flat and rectangular and features a lovely decoration: on one side a blue enameled pansy in the center of an oval medallion. The flower is surrounded by four stylized flowers placed at the corners on a rectangular cartouche. The cartouche is decorated with a frieze of blue dots and oval shapes; on the other side, an undecorated cartouche in a blue enameled frame, surrounded by a frieze of blue lozenges and fleurons. Regional clasp from Normandy, a piece of French sentimental jewelry from the early 19th century which can be worn as a pendant.

The ring is richly decorated with rinceaux and stylized leaves. Like most rings from this period, the ring head is secured with a rivet. Ring from the Mediterranean basin, probably Italy, circa 1780.
