  • Pendentif saint esprit ancienpendentif- Out of Stock

Georgian Saint Esprit pendant from the Puy en Velay in 18 karat (750) rose gold. This regional pendant consists of an oval gold leaf embossed with a small cross, a flower and laurel leaves on a blue enamelled background. This element holds – with four figaro chains a Saint Esprit pendant representing a stylised bird carrying three gourds (or tears). The Saint Esprit pendant is no longer enamelled; it must have been decorated with blue enamel. It is set in the centre with a yellow stone, probably a yellow topaz or glass on a paillon, which is now very scratched. This early regional Saint Esprit pendant dates from the early 19th century, circa 1810, Auvergne, France.

    Marked with a fleur-de-lys (1819-1838), a bulldog’s head and the PERET hallmark.

    Dimensions: 11 cm x 4.6 cm

Condition: lack of enamel in the lower part, gem very dull due to its age, scratches and dents.

    Weight : 6.62 gr
