Cluster ring Perpignan garnets in 18k rose gold. Antique ring centred on a round garnet surrounded by six round rose-cut garnets set in pearls. The main garnet is mounted on a structure attached by clasps/rings to the head of the ring. The ring is soberly decorated with a gadroon on each shoulder. The gold structure is finely decorated with triangular V-shaped figures on the edges, and the back of the bezels is domed. These stones are known as “perpignan” or “rose” cut and are faceted on the top but flat on the underside. These garnets have a beautiful raspberry, pink-red and slightly purplish colour. These colours are typical of Perpignan jewellery, with a palette of shades that is revealed in the sunlight.Regional jewellery from the middle of 19th century, France.

The facets are decorated with enamels and motifs: one centred on a shield framed by two laurel leaves, the corners enamelled blue; the other decorated with a frieze of triangles enamelled blue, the corners enamelled white. Forget-me-not turquoise ring in 18 karat rose gold (750), featuring a central design of a blossoming branch set with five turquoise cabochons and a faceted glass. The ring’s band is hollow and holds a braided lock of hair that decorates the entire circumference of the band. This memento ring dates from the second half of the 19th century, specifically the Napoleon III period.

Antique necklace cameo pendant in 18 karat yellow and rose gold (750). Necklace featuring a photo medallion centered with an agate cameo of a woman profile with an antique hairstyle. The cameo is surrounded by a finely braided circular gold element, similar to the thick chain. The medallion is in rose gold and opens onto a compartment that can hold a photograph or a lock of hair, protected by glass. The necklace chain resembles a tube of gold braiding, giving it a slight elasticity (like a spring). It closes with a ratchet box concealed in the body of the necklace. The medallion pendant was made by Lucien or Laurent Nicot (active in Paris from 1854 to 1903).
