Lovely brooch, typical of the German Jugendstil period. The brooch is in silver, the hairstyle of the woman in profile decorated with a turquoise.
Description
Jugendstil maiden brooch in silver 900. This brooch has a triangular shape. In the center, a young woman or maiden in profile, worked in relief, wears a turquoise cabochon headdress. This hair falls gently and comes out of the frame. Probably German work (Pforzheim), around 1900.
Rectangular hallmark 900 (on the reverse).
