Description
Holy Spirit pendant in 18 karat rose gold (750 thousandths). This pendant takes the shape of the dove of the Holy Spirit, beak down. The dove is cut from a thin sheet of gold and was once enameled in the hollow parts. A rose-red garnet sits in the center. Hanging from the pendant are three teardrop-shaped pendants set with pear-cut garnets. Early 19th century regional jewelry, Puy en Velay, Auvergne, France.
