French Victorian long earrings star
Description
French Victorian long earrings starin yellow gold 18 karats. Pair of ear pendants “night and day” composed of two parts: a drop earring with a circular pattern in gold, centered on a cabochon of blue enamel ceramic. It holds a pendant decorated in several sections: the central circular motif is stamped with flowers and foliage, adorned with a blue ceramic cabochon decorated with gold stars; the central element is topped by a crescent moon supporting a half-spherical element stamped with the same decoration. The pendant is also decorated with a fine chain and holds a tassel decorated with a blue ceramic cabochon. Pair of earrings called “day and night”, Napoleon III period, France.
