820,00€Augis Love medal medium size in 18 karat yellow gold. A medal with modern lines, where the “+” sign is highlighted by a diamond, the “-” sign by two calibrated synthetic rubies. The pendant features a quotation from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poetess, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “For, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”. Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis used these verses in his “médailles d’amour”, condensing them into “+ qu’hier – que demain”. Vintage medal pendant, medium resized, circa 1980.

This half-set consists of a necklace and a pair of earrings, decorated with natural pearls and curved porcelain plaques enameled and decorated with blue and pink flowers. The plates are all highlighted with three small rose-cut diamonds at the bottom. The earrings match the necklace. Antique half-set, 19th century, from the Netherlands.
