Description
French Victorian Holy spirit brooch in 18k rose gold. This brooch takes the shape of the dove of the Holy Spirit in a stylized way. The bird is decorated with seven foiled citrines, the wings are decorated with green enamel dots on a white enamel background. The dove holds three citrines in tassel. The tail of the bird is highlighted by three paste stones. It is most probably a pendant transformed into a brooch. Regional jewel of the late 19th century, Aurillac, Auvergne region.

Note: the pin on the reverse is a later add than the rest of the jewel.
Condition: missing enamel, scratches from use. The gold is dented and pierced on the back with a tassel. Two small chips on stones.
