Description
A delicate and beautiful draperie Napoleon III necklace made of 18 karats yellow and white golds.
It is called “draperie” in French because it comes to dress the neck, as a piece of clothes.
On the chain: two circles, in the center of which is a natural pearl of 2 mm, framed by two finely chiseled laurel leaves, hold chains at the end of which is a flower of white gold adorned with 8 rose-cut diamonds and a natural pearl of 2 mm.
This main flower holds a larger laurel leaf where a natural pearl drop of 3 mm hangs.

Lenght of the motif: 6.4 cm
Period: end of Napoleon III period in France, Victorian period in England. Around 1880.
Condition: Very good. It is possible than the original clip has been changed as the gold color is slightly different from the necklace.
