Description
Cross of Puy en Velay pendant in 18 karat rose gold (750 thousandths), stamped. This regional cross pendant features, on one side, a raised relief of Christ on a dark blue enameled background, and on the other side, a raised relief of the Virgin Mary on the same enameled background. The pendant is adorned with three drop-shaped pendants. It is a Christian cross pendant, representing a regional jewel from the late 19th century. Auvergne.
Horse head hallmark (French hallmark for 18-karat gold) and the goldsmith’s hallmark, possibly “Pierret.”
Dimensions: 68 mm x 38 mm.
Condition: shows dents, enamel losses, and oxidations.
