1450,00€Tank ruby diamond scroll ring in yellow, pink and white gold 18 karat. Beautiful tank ring decorated in the centre of eight diamonds (brilliant cut and 8/8) in a white gold setting. The central diamonds are surrounded by two lines of four calibrated rubies. This geometric composition of rubies and diamonds is itself framed by two high-volume gold scrolls set with two lines of nine 88-cut diamonds. The jeweller and goldsmith plays with the volumes, the curved and geometric lines and the colours of the gold. Tank ring from 1945.

At the end of the 17th century, Vincenzo PERUZZI invented the diamond’s cut with 58 facets. Named the “Peruzzi cut”, it is similar to the brilliant cut by a number of facets and by its proportions.

The necklace holds a large silver plate with floral decoration, holding a drop-shaped pendant, topped with leaves. The whole is entirely decorated with paste stones on foils, of white or slightly yellow color. The necklace closes with a ratchet box with a leaf motif. It is framed by a halo of 16 seed pearls and the settings is formed by two separated strands adorned with an openwork pattern. Jewel from the beginning of the 19th century, circa 1810-1830.

Hair jewellery was very popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. Jewellery with compartments made it possible to keep a lock of hair of a lover or a missing person (later it will be the photograph). It can be a medallion or a ring for example. There are also jewels made from hair, such as necklaces, chains, bracelets and rings. These hair jewels are worked like textiles: they are woven, embroidered, twisted. A whole craft industry developed around this new fashion, which lasted until the end of the 19th century.

This is a natural sapphire from Madagascar. This sapphire is in close setting and surrounded by twenty-four brilliant diamonds set in grain, in a structure with pearl pattern. The shoulders of the ring are adorned with 10 brilliant cut diamonds. The ring has thirty-four diamonds in total. Perfect for an engagement ring, it is from late 20th century in an Art Deco style. Made in France.
