Antique opening medallion with enamel decoration on a guilloché background depicting a lamb at the foot of the Cross, bearing the inscription “INRI”, meaning the Latin words Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum, i.e. “Jesus the Nazarene King of the Jews”, whom Pilate had placed on the Cross. Jesus, also known as the “Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world”, is likened to a sacrificial lamb. The contours of the medallion are decorated with fine half-pearls and black enamel. The reverse of the pendant is decorated with chasing and black enamel forming hearts around a rhombus. The locket can be opened to conceal a photograph. It can be worn either way. 900,00€Large French regional clasp in 18-karat rose gold (750). This large Normandy clasp is made of hollow gold. It is richly decorated with colorful enamels. On one side, three partially enameled flowers blossom in the center of the clasp within a cartouche. The cartouche is surrounded by a frieze of dots and semicircles. On the other side, a flower basket composed of pansies, wheat, a rose, and a tulip is featured within a blue enameled cartouche. The presence of pansies is typical of the iconography of sentiment jewelry from the early 19th century, signifying “think of me.”
This Normandy regional clasp is a French sentiment jewel from the early 19th century.

On the left, there is a navy anchor representing hope; in the center, a heart on fire symbolizing charity and finally on the right the cross representing faith. The three virtues are represented in gold on a blue enamel background. The ring is openwork with eleven raised dots. The latter allowed the wearer to scratch his tens serving as a rosary.
