1120,00€Antique Augis ring “more than yesterday less than tomorrow” in yellow gold 18 karats (750), signed. The ring is surmounted by an oval plate delicately worked in laurel leaves, which have slightly faded with time. The ring is soberly decorated and separates into two strands of gold on the edges of the tray. The “+” sign is set with five diamonds and the “-” sign is set with a baguette cut treated natural ruby. This refers to a quote from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poetess, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “For, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”. Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these verses in his “medals of love” by condensing them into “+ than yesterday – than tomorrow”.

At the end of the 17th century, Vincenzo PERUZZI invented the diamond’s cut with 58 facets. Named the “Peruzzi cut”, it is similar to the brilliant cut by a number of facets and by its proportions.

A cabochon-cut sapphire adorns the head of the reptile, it is surrounded by seventeen rose-cut diamonds in a white gold setting. The eyes of the snake are suggested by incisions. 1150,00€Art Nouveau enamel brooch in yellow gold 18 karats. Brooch of triangular form with lines in “whiplash”, decorated with flowers of iris in the center. The work on the gold is particularly strong and delicate. In the openwork parts, the goldsmith has applied an enamel called “plique à jour” of a mauve color. The enamel is unevenly deposited and slightly milky. On the reverse side, the brooch is chiseled with a floral motif that also gives it movement. In the lower part, a hoop was added afterwards, which allows the brooch to be worn as a pendant. Brooch – pendant in plique enamel of the Art Nouveau period, circa 1910.

630,00€Victorian fob seal pendant in yellow gold 18 karats (750 thousandths) and silver.
This pendant in the form of stirrup is decorated with a seal made of citrine wich turns on itself. It is composed of two intertwined strands, one in silver, the other in gold. They form a knot in the center of the composition. The citrine is engraved on two of its sides with an inscription in Persian language and on the third with gothic initials.
