The reverse side of the medal is inscribed “Souvenir des Blessés” (Remembrance of the Wounded), in homage to the soldiers victims of the Great War. Art Nouveau ruby ring in 18 karat yellow gold and platinum. Antique ring of the Art Nouveau period decorated with a pigeon’s blood ruby and diamonds. In its center there is a cushion-cut ruby. The ruby is framed by two old-cut diamonds. The whole is surrounded by twelve rose-cut diamonds in a platinum beaded setting. The shoulders of the ring are embellished with leaves setted with diamonds. Art nouveau ring, circa 1910, France, Paris.

Victorian cuff bracelet in yellow gold 18 karats (750) and silver. Antique bracelet articulated and decorated with openwork friezes. This bracelet is decorated with a round silver element on which are set sixteen rose-cut diamonds in a star pattern, surrounded by nine fine pearls. The structure is worked in openwork. The silver element can be removed by means of a pin that fixes it (or detaches it) from the bracelet. The jewel can thus be worn in a simple or more elaborate way. Vintage knot ring in 18 karats white and yellow gold. The ring is composed of fine intersecting gadroons featuring a knot in the center. Vintage ring of the 1990s.
Tank ruby diamond scroll ring in yellow, pink and white gold 18 karat. Beautiful tank ring decorated in the centre of eight diamonds (brilliant cut and 8/8) in a white gold setting. The central diamonds are surrounded by two lines of four calibrated rubies. This geometric composition of rubies and diamonds is itself framed by two high-volume gold scrolls set with two lines of nine 88-cut diamonds. The jeweller and goldsmith plays with the volumes, the curved and geometric lines and the colours of the gold. Tank ring from 1945.

Antique Augis ring “more than yesterday less than tomorrow” in yellow gold 18 karats (750), signed. The ring is surmounted by an oval plate delicately worked in laurel leaves, which have slightly faded with time. The ring is soberly decorated and separates into two strands of gold on the edges of the tray. The “+” sign is set with five diamonds and the “-” sign is set with a baguette cut treated natural ruby. This refers to a quote from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poetess, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “For, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”. Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these verses in his “medals of love” by condensing them into “+ than yesterday – than tomorrow”.

Solitaire diamond ring made of yellow 18 karats gold set with a Perruzzi cut diamond weight 0,20 carat, with a whirl prong setting.
At the end of the 17th century, Vincenzo PERUZZI invented the diamond’s cut with 58 facets. Named the “Peruzzi cut”, it is similar to the brilliant cut by a number of facets and by its proportions.

Pendant stained glass enamel in yellow gold 18 karats. Circular medallion decorated with translucent enamel or “plique-a-jour”. The decorative enamel pattern consists of a coat of arms in the center, decorated with small blue and green diamonds. It is surrounded by yellow and orange flames. Medallion pendant mid 20th century, in an Art Nouveau style.
