Description
Victorian black enamel diamond ring in 18 karat yellow gold. The ring is with an old cut diamond set with 10 claws. The diamond is surrounded by a gold circle decorated with black enamel stripes. The ring is finely chiseled with a dotted decoration on the edges and its shoulders are slightly enhanced.
Solitaire ring of the French Napoleon III period or Victorian period. Probably a sentimental ring (or mourning ring), the black enamel being often associated with the death of a person.
