Georgian Swiss poison ring
Description
Georgian Swiss poison ring in rose gold 18 karats (750). Rare antique ring of Swiss origin, consisting of an oval bezel with a secret compartment that opens on top. A portrait of a lady with a hat on a blue background, in porcelain, decorates the lid. It is a traditional costume of Swiss canton. The ring is made of hollow stamped gold, it is enamelled black, white, green, red, blue and yellow and has a flower motif in relief on the shoulders. Swiss ring of the early 19th century, circa 1820-1840.
