Description
Georgian French cross onyx and rose gold 18 karats. This large religious pendant is composed of two onyx rods of hexagonal shape. The ends and the center are decorated with coral beads of orange color. In the upper part, the finial is in the form of a fleur-de-lys. The cross is also adorned with rose gold plates in the center, forming a floral decoration, and also at the ends, following the hexagonal shape of the onyx. French religious pendant, probably from the South of France, dating from the early 19th century. Georgian period.
Marked with a rooster’s head turned to the right, the beak closed (Paris between 1798 and 1809); Goldsmith’s mark JAO unknown.
