Description
Eros Love brooch in 18 karat (750) yellow gold. Antique brooch decorated with openwork gold leaf depicting an antique scene with Eros leaning on a stele decorated with a flaming heart. The gold leaf is applied to a square of silk. The ring is encircled by gold and onyx. The back of the jewel opens to conceal a photograph or a lock of hair. Antique brooch, circa 1870.
