Description
Antique French Provencal eglomise pendant in 18 karat (750) pink gold. Circular medallion enclosing a miniature. The miniature depicts a view of a house, or a church, on the banks of a river, near a bridge. The miniature is surrounded by a black eglomized frieze on a gold-leaf background, mounted in an 18 karat gold frame. A silk fabric is visible on the reverse. Antique regional pendant, mid-19th century, South of France.
