Victorian French enamel foiled paste cross pendant in silver. This cross is in silver with filigree decoration, forming a cross adorn with paste faceted pink glasses on spangles meant to have a look of pink topaz. A black enamel decoration with white dots covers the entire pendant. A glass bead adorns the upper part of the composition. The bezels are completely closed. Georgian Maltese cross chalcedony pendant in 14k gold (585). This antique reliquary cross is made of four chalcedony elements forming a cross, held together by a central gold element with delicate engraving. This central element likely originally contained a woven lock of hair beneath glass, although it is no longer present. The pendant has an intricately decorated bail. This Georgian cross t is from around 1820.

Hexagonal photo locket pendant in 18 karats gold. This antique locket pendant takes on the shape of a hexagon with a simple, undecorated gold border. The top section, beneath the bale, unscrews to open the pendant, revealing two beveled glasses inside. It can be used to insert a photo or a lock of hair. The pendant contains a miniature depicting a Saint or Saintess adorned with a crown of pink flowers and what appears to be a sword. The flower crown is an attribute of Saint Dorothée or Rosa de Lima, but there’s some uncertainty regarding this iconography. Above the saint’s halo, the word “félicité” (happiness) is discernible. This is an antique pendant from the mid-19th century.

Retro diamond ruby pendant in 18k rose gold (750). This geometric hexagonal pendant features a row of five old-cut diamonds, flanked by two rows of synthetic square rubies. This Retro pendant, dating back to around 1950, hails from France. Vintage pendant.

Art Nouveau December medal in 18 karat (750) pink and green gold. Rare December pendant decorated with mistletoe leaves and set in the centre with a very dark red cabochon imitation stone. The month “December” is inscribed in openwork gold at the top of the pendant. Antique pendant from the early 20th century, Art Nouveau period.

Victorian paste stone enamel pendant. This pendant is composed in the upper part of a white enamelled flower with black dots surrounded by four faceted pink paste stones imitating topaz. This motif is linked to a central element by three chains set with past stones and fine half pearls. The central element, the most important, is composed of an oval faceted pink paste stones, framed by four enamelled flowers and four foiled paste stones. It supports two drop-shaped pendants. French jewel of the Second Empire, circa 1860, Victorian period.

French Reunion island gold pendant in 18 karat yellow gold (750). This pendant features a map of Reunion Island, with Saint Louis and Saint Pierre. The map is flown over by a sphaeton bird, iconic white bird of the island. Second-hand pendant, circa 1990.

About Emile Dropsy (1848-1923): a French engraver and medal-maker, Emile Dropsy finished his studies at the age of thirty and began making medals under the guidance of Ferdinand Levillain. For a long time, he devoted himself to creating religious medals, which were very popular with the public.
Antique necklace cameo pendant in 18 karat yellow and rose gold (750). Necklace featuring a photo medallion centered with an agate cameo of a woman profile with an antique hairstyle. The cameo is surrounded by a finely braided circular gold element, similar to the thick chain. The medallion is in rose gold and opens onto a compartment that can hold a photograph or a lock of hair, protected by glass. The necklace chain resembles a tube of gold braiding, giving it a slight elasticity (like a spring). It closes with a ratchet box concealed in the body of the necklace. The medallion pendant was made by Lucien or Laurent Nicot (active in Paris from 1854 to 1903).

Antique reliquary locket pendant in 18k rose gold (750). On one side, the pendant is decorated with a miniature on paper depicting Saint Jerome praying before a cross, with a skull in the foreground. The miniature is protected by a beveled oval glass. The reverse features a chased oval mother-of-pearl plate adorned with a carnelian cabochon on red foil, set in the center of the composition. It forms the heart of Christ, in a radiating motif engraved in the mother-of-pearl. The medallion is decorated with fine chasing on the edge, which opens secretly by unscrewing the ring-like upper part. Antique medallion, probably French, dating from the late 18th century.
