The ring opens under the bezel, revealing a secret compartment that can conceal a sentimental element (a flower, a lock of hair, for example). The inside of the ring is engraved with the words “V. Decondé et F. Destrée unis le 6 juin 1855”, the date of union of the two engaged couples. Antique ring for men. The ring is decorated with rinceaux in relief. The ring’s band is hollow and holds a braided lock of hair that decorates the entire circumference of the band. This memento ring dates from the second half of the 19th century, specifically the Napoleon III period.

On the left, there is a navy anchor representing hope; in the center, a heart on fire symbolizing charity and finally on the right the cross representing faith. The three virtues are represented in gold on a blue enamel background. The ring is openwork with eleven raised dots. The latter allowed the wearer to scratch his tens serving as a rosary. 1980,00€Victorian Spaniel brittany dog ring in rose gold 9 karats. Antique ring with a painted miniature, showing a sitted dog, looking to the right. It is most probably a hunting dog, Spaniel Brittany type. The miniature is painted on a white background (it could be ivory or vellum). 19th century ring, Victorian period, probably from England.
