Single earring saphiret in rose gold and platinum 18 karats. Antique drop earring set with a saphiret (blue faceted glass) by eight platinum claws. Unique earring from the beginning of the 20th century. Mismatched jewel.

Technical point : Saphiret is a type of glass that was produced in the town of Gablonz, Czechoslovakia, in the early 20th century. It has a recognizable colour: created by the fusion of gold with a sapphire blue glass, it adopts a velvety blue colour with a brown reflection, as if opalescent.
