Augis ring More than yesterday Less than tomorrow : love ring in 18 karats yellow gold. The ring is surmounted by a matt gold medal mentioning the quote taken from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poet, to his love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “Because, see you, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”.
The “+” sign adorned with a little diamond and the “-” sign with two calibrated synthetic rubies. The contour finely worked in diamond tips pattern, thus enhancing the love medal. French work, circa 1960.
Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these lines in his “love medals” by condensing them into “more than yesterday – tomorrow”.
