Description
Art Nouveau locket pendant in yellow 18 karats gold. Pendant with a circular frieze of ivy on both sides. Inside, one can slip a photograph or a lock of hair. Jewel around 1900-1920, Art Nouveau. In the symbols of the language of love the ivy was an expression of attachment, constancy and fidelity. Many jewels in the early 19th century were adorned with these secret messages.
