Augis Love Medal medium-sized in 18-karat yellow gold. This medal has a modern design, where the “+” sign is highlighted by an 8/8-cut diamond, and the “-” sign by two calibrated synthetic rubies. The pendant features a quote from a letter by poet Rosmonde Gérard to her love, Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “For, you see, each day I love you more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.” Inspired by these lovers, Alphonse Augis condensed these words into his “love medals” as “plus qu’hier – moins que demain.” Vintage French pendant, medium size, circa 1980.
