Large Perpignan garnet navette ring in 18 karat (750) rose gold. Large marquise ring with a navette-cut garnet framed by twelve round Perpignan-cut garnets. The main garnet is mounted on a structure attached by clasps/rings to the head of the ring. The garnets are mounted on pearls and set in a closed setting. They have a lovely, intense raspberry-pink-red colour, typical of Perpignan jewellery, with a palette of nuances that is revealed in the sunlight. The ring is soberly decorated on the shoulders. The gold structure is finely decorated with triangular V-shaped figures on the edges, and the bezel backs are domed. Regional marquise ring from the late 19th century, France.
