Description
Vintage sapphire diamond ring in 18 karat yellow gold (750). Pre-owned ring set with an oval cut sapphire in the centre. The sapphire has an intense dark blue colour, almost black. In the light, it has blue-green shades typical of sapphires from Australia or China. The sapphire is surrounded on the shoulders by a group of nine brilliant-cut diamonds in a grain setting, on each side. Vintage ring, late 20th Century, France.
Eagle head hallmark and illegible goldsmith’s hallmark.
