Description
Plique a jour enamel cross pendant in 18 karat yellow gold. This religious pendant is elegantly decorated with translucent enamels of blue, green and red, reminiscent of church windows. Enamel is a technique consisting of melting minerals reduced to powder and which will vitrify under the effect of heat. The particularity of plique-a-jour enamel is that the technique is carried out without a metallic background, leaving all the transparency to the color. Jewel made in the 20th century, France.
