More about tiger eye quartz : The tiger’s eye quartz is a member of the microcrystalline quartz family. Its particularity comes from its shimmering aspect varying from yellow to brown. This is due to the presence of a very large number of crocidolite inclusions, on which the light strikes, producing this particular luminous effect. There are other quartz of this type: hawk’s eye (blue) and bull’s eye (red).
