Description
Augis love medal « More than yesterday Less than tomorrow » in 18 karats yellow gold. The “+” sign highlighted by white gold and the “-” sign with two calibrated synthetic rubies. The contour finely worked in diamond tips pattern, thus enhancing the love medal. The outline is emphasized by a slightly twisted frieze. The quote taken from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poet, to his love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “Because, see you, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”. Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these lines in his “love medals” by condensing them into “more than yesterday – tomorrow”.
