Art Nouveau USFSA Athletics medal in 18 karat yellow gold. This vintage openwork medal bears the insignia of the Union des Sociétés Françaises de Sports Athlétiques (USFSA) and is dated 1920 at the top. The medal is decorated with the federation’s emblem: two blue and red enamel rings united by a white U (the colors of the French flag) and crossed by the motto “Ludus pro patria” meaning “games for the fatherland”. The reverse of the sports medal is inscribed with “Championnat de France”. This sports medal pendant is related to Athletics, 1920, France. Sport jewelry collection.
