Description
Art Deco chrysoprase square gold bracelet in 18 karats (750). Bracelet composed of seven alternating square links in gold and tinted green chalcedony (also called chrysoprase). French bracelet, Art Deco period, circa 1920-30.
A similar model exists in the Mauboussin collections, in gold with square links set with carnelian cabochons and onyx links. This model can be seen in the book Mauboussin by Marguerite de Cerval, p.148.
Another similar model is preserved in the Victoria & Albert Museum collections, in gold, enamel and rock crystal and can be seen in the museum’s “Geometry and Colors, 1920-1940” showcase.
Marked with an eagle head and a rhinoceros.
