This is a typical piece of jewelry from the Perpignan region. The term “badine” indicates that the lower part of the cross is mobile. The pendant refers to a quotation from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poetess, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “For, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”.
