Antique ring formed of two gold strands: one adorned with a clover set with three cabochon turquoise stones and a line of four natural pearls; the other adorned with a clover set with three natural pearls and a line of four turquoise stones. Big antique Augis love medal in 18 karat yellow gold. The medal adopts a round shape, a large format. The “+” sign is set with five rose-cut diamonds; the “-” sign is decorated with three calibrated synthetic rubies. The words “que hier” and “que demain” are embossed. This inscription refers to a quotation from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poetess, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: “For, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow”. Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis used these verses in his “médailles d’amour”, condensing them to “+ qu’hier – que demain”. The medal is surrounded by a laurel garland.
