Description
Georgian enamel poison ring in 18 karat yellow gold. Rare ring composed of a square bezel with a secret compartment which opens on the top. The top is decorated with a red enamelled flower on a black background. The ring is richly decorated with volutes. French jewel from the first half of the 19th century, Georgian period. These are often referred to as poison rings, but they were more often used to store mementos.
