Antique charms

A charm or trinket is a small piece of costume jewelry that is worn suspended from a chain or bracelet. Popularized under the English term “charms” or “charmes” in French, these small decorative elements often take the form of animals, buildings, or objects representing a passion such as reading, football or cooking.

Rarely worn alone, they accumulate on the jewel to which they are attached. Charms and trinkets are frequently offered as gifts because they are accessible and allow one to easily expand a personal collection.
