Focus on: Georges Lenfant (20th century)
Georges Lenfant began as an apprentice in jewelry making at a young age and quickly set up his workshop in Paris, on Rue des Petits-Champs, a few steps from Place Vendôme, where he worked for the biggest names before starting to sign his creations. He worked in particular in close collaboration with Sandoz and together they created magnificent Art Deco pieces in the 1930s. In 1915, his son Jacques joined the workshop and took over from his father. The house specialized in chains and mesh, of which Jacques became a virtuoso and enthusiast.
