Maison Mohs at the Timeless Jewels show was at the end of November, the opportunity to showcase our selection of antique jewelry in Paris.
Indeed, it is difficult to put everything online on the website at the rate of our finds, so the show was an opportunity to present many new items that we had gleaned here and there in recent months. Antique jewelry that has seduced its audience in the midst of contemporary creation.
A warm living room with very pleasant (and incredibly creative, hello MAD joaillerie ) neighbors which allowed us to meet many customers and present our antique jewelry to lovers of contemporary jewelry.
On the program of our showcases of old coral, "opera" necklace in three rows, Napoleon III earrings, cameos and brooches; sapphires of all colors (pink, yellow, green, blue), Retro and Art Nouveau jewelry , a rhinestone necklace on green and pink spangles from the middle of the 19th century that dresses the neck like never before. And then a beautiful selection of French regional jewelry, Savoyard creoles, Bresse fish earrings, engagement ring from Poitou, brooch in garnets from Perpignan, earrings from Arles. But also, hair! And yes, hair jewelry, these sentimental jewelry from the 19th century completely out of fashion today but whose work still fascinates as much.
