Gérard Sandoz comes from a large family of jewelers, he began designing jewelry models at a very early age and quickly became one of the inventors of "modern jewelry" in the mid-1920s. His creations were inspired by mechanics, speed and machines. He chose to use inexpensive materials: lacquer, onyx, coral, citrine, amethyst, etc. Gérard Sandoz's jewelry is all the more precious because it is rare. In the 1930s, he left the world of jewelry to enter the world of cinema.
