Description
Enameled souvenir portrait locket ring in 18 karat yellow gold (750). Octagonal bezel ring, centered with a design representing an allegory of nature or spring (goddess Flora?) – adorned with flowers and dressed in a light gown. The enameled porcelain miniature is surrounded by a beaded frieze and a blue enameled band decorated with dots and stars. The ring is richly decorated with fine chasing and ends in a fleur-de-lys at shoulder level. On the back of the miniature, the bezel can be opened to reveal a large, discreet and secret compartment, where a memento such as a lock of hair or a photograph can be placed.
