Gay Freres tigers bracelet in 18 karat gold and silver. Rare band bracelet decorated with two confronting tiger heads, clasping a ring in their mouths. The body is in silver decorated with gold and black organic matter. The eyes of the two tigers are set with round rubies. The jewel opens and closes with a ratchet box and is secured with a safety eight. Gay Frères bracelet, circa 1960-1970.

More information : The Maison Gay Frères was established in 1835 by Jean-Pierre Gay and Gaspard Tissot, from a chain-making workshop in Geneva. Renowned for their bracelets, they became preferred suppliers to the most prestigious watchmakers such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Zenith, at a time when the wristwatch was gaining in popularity. They also collaborated with Van Cleef & Arpels to manufacture jewelry.
