Victorian photo locket pendant in 18 karat gold, decorated with knots around the edge. The pendant unscrews at the bail to open and hold a photograph. The glasses are faceted. The knots on the sides represent links, symbolizing attachment. Napoleon III pendant, circa 1880, France.

Condition: scratches from use, some light chips on the edges of the glass hidden under the frame, one internal chip in the glass.
