This jewel has already gone to its new home
Minerva intaglio ring in 22 karat gold. Ring centered with a carnelian intaglio probably depicting the goddess Minerva, holding a spear in her right hand and accompanied by a bird on her left hand. The mounting is crafted in an "antique" style and dates from the 19th century. It is made of matte yellow gold decorated with gadroons. The ring head is encircled with granulations. Roman period intaglio, 3rd century.
