





Chaumet snake hairpin
Chaumet 18k gold serpent hairpin. This Chaumet hairpin features a serpent motif coiling around the top. The serpent is crafted in gold, its head adorned with two rose-cut diamonds and a cabochon-cut natural sapphire. The serpent's eyes are set with two small cabochon rubies. Antique pin, circa 1900, Chaumet, France.
Eagle head hallmark, double numbering (on the reverse of the pin and on the back of the snake), unsigned pin.

Note: Around 1900, Chaumet produced a series of hair ornaments with a serpent motif, sold in pairs, one adorned with a sapphire cabochon, the other with a ruby cabochon. A similar model in its original case was sold by Lawrence Jeffrey ( see the jewelry entry ).

We ship within 24 hours by registered Colissimo with insurance and delivery against signature. The cost of transport is €10 .
If you want an "Express" delivery, you can choose the Chronopost option for next day delivery. This option is only possible if the order is placed before 4 p.m. Delivery is not guaranteed from Friday to Saturday. The cost of transport is €30 .
Important: Shipments are made on weekdays on working days. In case of a trade fair, shipments may be postponed to a later date (specified on the website). We are in no way responsible for delivery delays from partner companies.
To Europe : shipments are made by registered Colissimo with insurance and delivery against signature. The cost of transport is €15 .
If you want an "Express" delivery, you can choose the Chronopost option for delivery within 48 to 72 hours. The cost of transport is €40 .
To the World : shipments are made via DHL , registered with insurance and delivery against signature. The cost of transport is €35 .
If you want " Express " delivery, you can choose the option which will cost €60 .

All our jewelry is delivered with a certificate for insurance value. It includes a photo, a complete description of the jewelry, the purchase price and the customer's address. All our stones are appraised by our gemologist, a graduate of the National Institute of Gemmology in Paris. Some stones are accompanied by a French laboratory certificate (this is then specified in the jewelry sheet). The jewelry is carefully checked, a condition report accompanies each description.
