Augis Love Medal "+ than yesterday - than tomorrow" in 18 karat yellow gold (750 thousandths). Vintage medal, where the "+" sign is highlighted by a rose-cut diamond, the "-" sign by three calibrated synthetic rubies. The pendant mentions the quote taken from a letter from Rosmonde Gérard, the poet, to her love Edmond Rostand, the author of Cyrano de Bergerac: "Because, you see, every day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow." Inspired by these two lovers, Alphonse Augis takes up these verses in his "love medals" by condensing them into "+ than yesterday - than tomorrow". Vintage medal pendant, circa 1980.
