Owl hallmark on the bail.

Spanish work in the style of Masriera, master of Spanish Art Nouveau (Modernismo) at the end of the 19th century. Lluís Masriera i Rosés (1872-1958) studied in Geneva with the Swiss enameller Lossier. In 1900, he discovered René Lalique during the Paris Exhibition. He returned and decided to destroy his creations to create new ones that he sold almost immediately. He improved his technique of translucent enamel giving it a glazed appearance and was inspired by Japanese art.
