For Christmas, think vintage and second-hand, offer a second-hand jewel
Reducing our consumption is a subject that has become increasingly at the heart of our concerns in recent years. What if, to change things up a bit this Christmas, we thought vintage and second-hand and offered (or treated ourselves to) a second-hand piece of jewelry?
Making something new from something old, recycling, upcycling, circular economy, virtuous economy: these expressions have become familiar in our daily lives and it is not just a fad. These questions are real concerns at the moment and it is important to keep in mind what the manufacturing of a jewel costs the planet and the people who must exploit it. Even if today some designers choose recycled gold, "fair trade" gems (and we thank them!), the fact remains that this remains a creation requiring resources while so much jewelry still circulates on the market.
Of course we defend our market of old, second-hand, vintage. First because we love our jewelry: we like to show you a Retro bracelet worn with Napoleon III earrings, we like to put an Art Deco brooch on our Blanc bonnet made in France. But also because we are deeply convinced that everyone can find an old piece of jewelry (or several!) to their taste, and give it a second life.
What if for Christmas we made this choice of antique jewelry? Don't worry, who says jewelry does not mean big expense. Our "filter by price" section allows you to find jewelry for less than 400 euros on our website. Second-hand rings and earrings at really affordable prices, in 18-karat gold and with the charm of the old. Our role as a digital antique dealer is to take you with us to our online store and present you with old, but dusted off. So we are waiting for you, and if you have any requests for Santa Claus, write to us, we will see what we can do!
